Go Texan Lunch with Juan Garcia, HLSR + Houston Sport Authority

Celebrate Go Texan season with Downtown Rotary as we welcome Juan Garcia, a proud native Texan, accomplished trial lawyer, and trailblazing leader with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

Juan is the first Hispanic member of the HLSR Executive Committee in the event’s 90 year history and currently serves on the HLSR Board of Directors, as Chairman of the Risk Management Committee, and as Past Chairman of the Go Tejano Committee. He is also deeply involved with the Hispanic Bar Association of Houston, the Mexican American Bar Association of Houston, and multiple legal advisory groups. Professionally, Juan is a founding partner of Johnson Garcia LLP, a firm dedicated to helping families and individuals who have been harmed by the wrongdoing of others.

From his early days sacking groceries and managing one of Houston’s largest grocery stores, to graduating summa cum laude from law school and rising to Senior Partner at a global law firm, Juan’s story is one of grit, service, and community impact. At our Go Texan luncheon he will share insights on:

• The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and its impact on our region
• Houston’s growing role on the global stage, including the World Cup
• How the Houston Sports Authority and major events shape our city’s future
