Downtown Rotary Presents a Special COVID-19 Panel & Luncheon

Join us for a Special COVID-19 Program featuring VIPs of the medical community. Moderating the discussion around the pandemic and the vaccine is Downtown Rotary's own Bill King, J.D. Bill has been keeping the community informed and up-to-date about the coronavirus pandemic, numbers, and his own vaccine journey on his blog, A Public Policy Discussion, found at www.billkingblog.com.

Our panelists include Downtown Rotary's Public Health Committee Chairwoman Dr. Ruth L. Bush M.D., J.D., M.P.H., Associate Dean of Medical Education and a professor at the University of Houston College of Medicine; Founding Charter Member of the Downtown Rotary Club of Houston John R. Price, Co-Chairman, President, and CEO Greffex Inc.; and Dr. Hana Mohammed El Sahly, M.D., Associate Professor at Baylor College of Medicine. Hana teaches Molecular Virology and Microbiology and Vaccine and Treatment Evaluation Unit.

COVID-19 Health Guidelines:

  • All attendees must wear a mask.
  • All attendees must practice social distancing.
  • Temperatures will be taken at the entrance.
  • 50% capacity will be enforced. Maximum of 250 persons at 50% of 500 standard capacity.
  • Documentation video will be taken of the meeting.
