Downtown Rotary Welcomes Texas Land Commissioner George P. Bush

Downtown Rotary Club of Houston luncheon with guest Commissioner George P. Bush is Thursday, May 20, 2021, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Ballroom on Bayou Place.

As Texas Land Commissioner, Bush works to ensure Texas veterans get the benefits they’ve earned, oversees investments that earn billions of dollars for public education, and manages state lands to produce the oil and gas that is helping make America energy independent.

Commissioner Bush is the grandson of President George H.W. Bush, the son of former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, and the nephew of President George W. Bush. He lives in Austin with his wife, Amanda, and their two sons.

Downtown Rotary Club of Houston members are entitled to one (1) free ticket per paid member. Corporate members are entitled to five (5) tickets. Visitors and guests must purchase a ticket at $50.
