Isabel brings a wealth of knowledge on regional economic trends, trade, and the impact of tariffs on Houston and the region. With experience producing key research for the Fed, she’ll offer valuable insights into the forces shaping our local and national economy. Brizuela holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Kentucky and a master’s degree in economics from Purdue University. As part of the Federal Reserve’s Research Department, she focuses on regional economic issues and regularly contributes to the Bank’s publications.
